Overwhelmed (but in a good way)

So the other day I was perusing my RSS feed when I came across this post on Cheap Chic Home, a blog I'd been following for awhile.  As a new blogger I thought I should check it out.  Little did I know what was about to occur.  Shortly after I made my comment, the blogger (Kim), graciously wrote back and checked out my blog.  We went back and forth for awhile and as a result of her suggestions (or maybe it was from looking at her blog) I took a chance and joined something called Linky Followers, a site that connects bloggers.

I can explain the experience like this:  imagine going to a party full of really cool and interesting strangers.  Now imagine that--as soon as you enter--everyone at the party stops what they're doing, welcomes you warmly and compliments your shoes.  :)  That's what joining Linky Followers has been like for me.

So to all the new people who have begun following 'A Casarella, thank you!  I am overwhelmed by your kindness and look forward to reading every one of your blogs.  If somehow I miss you (and I am terrified that I'm going to overlook someone), please forgive me (and don't hesitate to give me a little nudge ;).

  1. Thanks Tiffany :) I could say the same about you!

  2. Oh, and now you need to enter the land of link parties ...

... so many wonderful people stopping by and leaving such lovely comments and compliments on your home and projects ...

Email separately (linda@zbraden.com) if you want me to tell you more about the linky parties.

  3. Hi Elena, I found your blog through the Linky Follower Blog Hop. Hope you can stop by to visit my blog, intheoldroad.blogspot.com.

  4. Hi, Elena! From one rookie-ish blogger to another- Welcome to the land of blogging!
Thanks so much for popping by my place!

  5. Now I'm feeling old ... old school. I'm familiar with Google Followers, so I signed up to follow you through that link. I like that Google Reader will let me know when you have a new post. I look forward to keeping up with the goings on in your world. I've enjoyed getting to know you even better through reading your first blog posts. ;-)

Comments let me get to know my readers.

They also make me a do a little happy dance every time I open my email.

Don't you want to be a part of that?
